I found myself once again roaming around in the Barrens.
My Day started off to be a real boar. (No offence to Meatie ^^) I had no Idea what to do today. I started my day off in the small village Called Cross roads. I bought some cheese to feed Meatie, and Some more ammo for my gun.
I also sold some Items and random stuff that I found in during my exploration. I got a whole total of 45 silver and 12 copper after my purchases. I was going to save up for a new gun, but my friend Spiny, a Blood Elf also, told me that she would make me one when my Marksmanship improves.
Afterwards, I decided I wanted to go harvest some more Perfect Deviate Scales. Those were Found in this cave to the west of the crossroads, called the Wailing Caverns. I went about gathering as many Perfect Deviate scales till I got bored, which was really quick. So I decided to go exploring.
I headed North Towards Eversong woods. This is a fantastic sight. The trees are in Full bloom right now and it just looked so Wonderful. I was off in a Daze when I heard an Unfamiliar language. Come to find out that unfamiliar language was yelling at me. I could not understand one word that was spoken. I was so confused.
I just stared at this person, who by the looks of them, Looked like a Human. I went to respond, but just as I Opened my mouth to say something I saw a bright flaming fireball coming straight for me. At the last second I Jumped out of the way, and as I did I whistled for Meatie. Meatie was off wandering in the bushes eating the plump red berries, but when he heard me dropped what he was chewing on and ran straight for the Human.
By the spell he cast towards me I could Tell that he is in Training to become a mage... or at least That's what I am assuming. Knowing this I remembered a special ability that out Blood Elf race had passed on from Generation to generation. Mana Syphon. I can absorb some of the mages Magic power and harvest from the energy, in turn releasing a burst of magic to disable the Magic caster from casting any spells for a short period of time.
Just as I looked up from another fireball shooting past me, I saw Meatie Rush the Human, knocking him backwards putting him in a confused daze. At that moment I Began to Absorb his magic. I could feel the Mana transferring into my Body. The Energy that I felt was almost overwhelming, but it felt good.
I decided to wait for the right moment to release this energy, so I pulled out my gun, took aim and fired. With a big booming burst, my arms jolted backwards, and smoke poured out of the barrel into the leaf filled sky catching the light that was seeping in from the sun. I quickly loaded and, Boom. I fired again. This time I heard a yell. As I waited for the smoke to clear, I held my breath. All that I could hear was the grunting of Meatie and a loud Heavy breathing Human.
When I could finally see, Meatie was already Half way backing towards me, and that Human, was down on his knees. Bleeding for one of his shoulders, and more blood coming from his leg. What a NuB, I thought as I focused on Meatie. The hair on his back was raised and it seemed he was intently staring at that mage. As I followed his line of sight, he was in fact not staring at the mage, but at the People coming from behind this mage. Two night elf another human and a gnome. And they all looked angry.
At that moment, I had no time to think, and began to run. This is where my Hunter Training abilities really helped me. I trained many long days of running, and running and running. So I ran, Meatie following close behind me panting. I could hear mumbling in the background but I barely payed attention. What have I gotten myself into I asked??? He started it, he attacked me... And I Ran, faster and harder than I have ever ran before.
Trying to listen to what was behind me, through my own heart racing and the panting of Meatie. I could still hear them, but they were faint. Faint enough to stop for a minute. As I slowed down I reached for one of my pouches. And grabbed some parts for my Icy Trap. As I finished laying down the trap, The crowd's noise started to sound close, dangerously close.
I began to run again, but in the distance I could see smoke. Could it be a camp? Yes. A camp. Even better a Horde camp. So I entered the camp, huffing and puffing. Told some officials what went on and they ran out, to look for these Alliance.
And that was the end of my day. Soon after that I found an Inn washed up and passed out, woke up many hours later, and logged into here. So how was that for an adventure?
Till next time
