Which Pet Would be best?

Okay, I am in a Dilemma.

I Just released my Dragon Hawk, which was a pet I had at my stable from which i first started off with, and i Caught a Thunder Hawk Hatching. I didn't really like this pet either, so I released it for a Hyena that I thought would be good, from thousand needles. This Hyena was alright but not the best.

Then,
The other day, my friends invited me along to explore a Dungeon, down in the lower Barrens. They called it Razor Fen Kraul. In there, it was amazing. There was a bunch of evil people in there however, which we had to fend off. But I saw a Black Boar there. I really wanted this as a pet, so I released my Hyena, and set my Freeze Trap. I lined myself up so that the path from it to me had the trap in the middle to buy me some time. Then I started to Calmly Tame it. As it ran toward me I started to get a bit nervous but, my Freeze Trap stopped him in his tracks. This gave me more time to calm him down.

When it was finally done I fed him and apple to show my appreciation and named him Meatie. I also made some armor out of leather for him when we got home.

I think Meatie is one of the best Pets that I have tamed so far, but I'm not sure. I was looking at some other skilled hunter's pets and saw some that would be cool to Hunt alongside. This one guy had a Massive gorilla! I think that I have enough skill to be able to tame one of these.

I'm Just not sure on what pet I want to get, or should I just keep Meatie? This is a Tough Choice to make. I'm sure it will come to me with time and training though.

Busy Busy Creating things

Okay. So I've been lazy. But I have been Busy also! I have taken up a Trade along my way of becoming a Great hunter. I have learned how to craft things out of leather!

This leather crafting has been really fun. I have been able to create new armor and friends that I have met along the way. I just created this pair of gloves that fit me just right. For now I'll just call them thick hide gloves. And just before coming on to update here, i just finished making a pair of black pants for myself too! ^^ The pattern that I took them from is called Dusky leather Pants.

This leather working has been so much fun, except the part where I need to gather up all the leather. I also do this myself. Skinning the beasts in which I slay. I have though become much more skilled at skinning. This allows me to get the best quality leather from each individual hide.

This Belt right now is very popular in style right now, I can even get up to seven! yes seven gold for selling it at the local Auction House. This for me is a Great way to get some money and upgrade my weaponry.

My favorite place to go skinning by far is this cave in the Barrens. It is over by an Oasis to the south west from the little gathering place called the crossroads. There are raptors and Wind serpents there. Sometimes one of these beasts will have a special scale called a Perfect Deviate scale. When I can gather up enough of these scales, I can make this GLAMOROUS belt. I call it the Deviate Scale Belt.

The Beginning!

Hello All!
Here I am now. Starting my own blog. Well this blog is to let everyone know how me, Phonexia, is progressing in my training of becoming a Hunter. For all of you that don't know, Training as a Hunter isn't only for me, I have to learn how also to train my Beast friends to aid me in my journey's as well.

I have only been in training for about three months now, and already I have learned so much. I've learned how to train my own Beast into a companion of my own, learned how to wield different weapons, and also learned how to set various traps that help me in certain situations.

First off, I can't decide on which Beast I want to keep as a pet companion. As of right now I went into Thousand needles, just south of the Barrens, and Tamed a wild leopard. Right now he fits me right and I am starting to like him more and more every day. I did however try out those beautiful dragon hawks from my homeland just outside of Silvermoon city. I named her Flare, because of the brilliant yellow, orange and red colors all over her feathers. She helped me throughout the first month or so or my training. When I tamed her, she knew how to breathe fire! At first it intimidated me, but eventually I became less scared of her unique ability. As of right now I keep her at a stable made specially for my pets. I can hold one there and keep one on me, until I get enough gold to build an add-on to it.

My cougar though is quite the fighter. He has strength up the wazoo, and he can chase down the fastest of beasts. I have not thought of a name to call him yet, and am looking into that. He is very easing to the eyes. He has a Yellow body with black spots all over. When I first met him in Thousand needles, He was using and ability called prowl. That is when he gets all stealthy, hard to see almost like he is invisible.

In order to tame him I used one of my trap skills, I call it freeze trap. I imbue an Icy element into my trap that does not hurt, only freezes the movement of the beast. It usually only lasts a few seconds, but lets me have enough time to calm most Animals to a state of tranquility, so that I don't get hurt in the process.

Another trap that helps me, I call fire trap. As its name states, it is a trap that i imbue with a fire element to be able to cause to burn an enemy. This doesn't hurt the victim as much as it just makes them vulnerable to my attacks.

Another cool trap that I just learned today I call frost trap. Like my Freeze trap, Imbue it with an Ice element, but when something triggers the trap it explodes and spays an Icy chill on the ground that slows down anyone trying to walk through it.

These traps come in very handy when I am adventuring throughout Azeroth. Everything i have learned up until now has helped me along my path of becoming a great hunter. I can prove to everyone that my skills will be very useful, even though most other blood elves shun the way of the hunter. They will see, when I become one of the most skilled Hunters out there.

Well that is all for today. I will keep you posted on my progress throughout the weeks. Goodbye for now, and until next time.
may the Sun shine strongly on you.
