Hello All!
Here I am now. Starting my own blog. Well this blog is to let everyone know how me, Phonexia, is progressing in my training of becoming a Hunter. For all of you that don't know, Training as a Hunter isn't only for me, I have to learn how also to train my Beast friends to aid me in my journey's as well.
I have only been in training for about three months now, and already I have learned so much. I've learned how to train my own Beast into a companion of my own, learned how to wield different weapons, and also learned how to set various traps that help me in certain situations.
First off, I can't decide on which Beast I want to keep as a pet companion. As of right now I went into Thousand needles, just south of the Barrens, and Tamed a wild leopard. Right now he fits me right and I am starting to like him more and more every day. I did however try out those beautiful dragon hawks from my homeland just outside of Silvermoon city. I named her Flare, because of the brilliant yellow, orange and red colors all over her feathers. She helped me throughout the first month or so or my training. When I tamed her, she knew how to breathe fire! At first it intimidated me, but eventually I became less scared of her unique ability. As of right now I keep her at a stable made specially for my pets. I can hold one there and keep one on me, until I get enough gold to build an add-on to it.
My cougar though is quite the fighter. He has strength up the wazoo, and he can chase down the fastest of beasts. I have not thought of a name to call him yet, and am looking into that. He is very easing to the eyes. He has a Yellow body with black spots all over. When I first met him in Thousand needles, He was using and ability called prowl. That is when he gets all stealthy, hard to see almost like he is invisible.
In order to tame him I used one of my trap skills, I call it freeze trap. I imbue an Icy element into my trap that does not hurt, only freezes the movement of the beast. It usually only lasts a few seconds, but lets me have enough time to calm most Animals to a state of tranquility, so that I don't get hurt in the process.
Another trap that helps me, I call fire trap. As its name states, it is a trap that i imbue with a fire element to be able to cause to burn an enemy. This doesn't hurt the victim as much as it just makes them vulnerable to my attacks.
Another cool trap that I just learned today I call frost trap. Like my Freeze trap, Imbue it with an Ice element, but when something triggers the trap it explodes and spays an Icy chill on the ground that slows down anyone trying to walk through it.
These traps come in very handy when I am adventuring throughout Azeroth. Everything i have learned up until now has helped me along my path of becoming a great hunter. I can prove to everyone that my skills will be very useful, even though most other blood elves shun the way of the hunter. They will see, when I become one of the most skilled Hunters out there.
Well that is all for today. I will keep you posted on my progress throughout the weeks. Goodbye for now, and until next time.
may the Sun shine strongly on you.
